Lava Lamps

On Monday the 7th of may we had a Question does hot water effect home made lava lamps?and my hypothesis was that hot water will make no change to the lava lamp but my hypothesis was wrong .
as we poured 4 1/2 centimeters water into a glass test tube and 8 1/2 centimeters of oil and 4 drops of red food colouring and then we added a type of fizzing tablet we used broker tablets 1cm by 1cm . We had three test tubes one with cold water ,one with warm water ,and the other with hot water. The air temperature was 15 degrees cold water was 12 degrees the warm water was 25 degrees and the hot water was 75 degrees (we couldn't have boiling water because it would smash the test tubes). we measured the test by how long it took the first bubble to rise the cold water took 1.03 second for the first bubble to  rise the warm water took 0.035 miller seconds to rise and the hot took 0.0021 miller seconds . The cold went for 1min.55
and warm went for 1min.25 and hot went for 1min.05.
